If
you are one of the ex-employees who were able to join the Company's
Matched Savings Share Purchase Plan (MSSPP) when it was introduced in
1992, you will have seen the value of your shares increase considerably
since then. The share price did take a tumble in the Spring of 2000
(which just illustrates how any share price can go down as well as
up!), and they are now (Spring 2008) 3.6 times that low value of the Spring of
2000 and effectively worth eleven times their face value in the
first year of the scheme after taking into account stock splits (not indexed for inflation)
You may now be considering what you
should do with your shares: keep them, sell them, or buy some more. The
decision is yours of course, but the following information may be of
help. The Pension Service http://www.thepensionservice.gov.uk/
