South East Associates
Wey Navigation & Losely Park Walk

- Tuesday 1st September -

Twelve Associates met outside the Shalford Scout Hut, to take advantage of what promised to be a pleasant morning's walking in the Surrey countryside.

We commenced by following a section of the Wey Navigation then headed west across open countryside to pass through Losely Park, with good views of the Elizabethan house.  From there we joined the North Downs Way and started on our return, passing through woodland and bridleway with good views of the surrounding countryside.

On reaching the outskirts of Guildford we re-joined the Wey Navigation to return to our starting point.

The walk was enjoyed by all, with just a short couple of showers towards the end, and then to finish it was off to a good lunch at The Harrow Inn in Compton.
