Send Walk

When twelve walkers gathered at the New Inn at Send we welcomed Sandy Fullicks to our ranks and although it was raining a little it cleared, allowing us to enjoy a pleasant walk along the tow-path by the Wey Navigation to St Mary's church where some of the congregation were cleaning and gave us some history going back to the 13th century.
The walk was generally flat with just some challenging stiles and bridges to cross but we arrived back at the New Inn ready for some excellent food and drinks and, of course, a good chat.
