London Plant Associates organise a coach-based Mystery Tour from time to time, and this year's tour was eagerly awaited by 45 Associates and guests.  The driver found some interesting free venues and an enjoyable day was had by all. Mav Mills, the organiser, decided to turn to verse to describe the experience.

London Associates day out
was a mystery waiting to happen

Wednesday, October 27th 2011

our mystery tour it did leave at nine
the outlook was horrible, but it turned out fine
our driver named peter moved all file and rank
our first destination was off to the bank.
money through the ages was the theme of the day
everybody looking had something to say
large gold bars were everyone's wish

When 10 Bob could buy enough
stamps for 50 letters!

but move on we must, to go see some fish
the aquarium of london our next port of call
the wonders of fish world was a joy for all
the place it was crowded, with girls and boys

but our journey moves onwards to go see some toys
the toy museum at bethnal green
every child's wish list was here to be seen
from young to old all had something to say
the museum was excellent, with nothing to pay

The London Toy Museum at Bethnal Green

the day was now over, no more shall we roam
ours was to sit back, and just head for home
