NE Sports & Social Club
The aim of the Sports and Social Club is to give the Company's employees amd Associates the opportunity to join in a range of sporting and social activities.
The Club does this in two ways. First, the Club's sections form the core of its activities. Current sections are listed on the application form (click here>> ) which contains also the name of the section co-ordinator who you should contact if you would like further information.
If an activity you are interested in does not appear on the list, don't be discouraged. The S&SC Club is always interested in setting up new sections, as long as there is enough interest and the cost is reasonable. For information on how to set up a new section, please contact the Secretary, Sharon Tarbitt (tarbitt.s@pg.com), P&G, Cobalt 12, Silver Fox Way, Cobalt Business Park, Newcastle upon Tyne NE27 OQW).
In addition to the activities of the sections, the Club also supports a series of one-off events around the year for all members to participate in. These have included wine-tasting, river boat cruises, parties. All these events are subsidised by the Club and are enthusiastically attended.
Membership of the Sports and Social Club is open to all members of the P&G Company and Associates, together with their partners. Membership is entirely voluntary and is currently enjoyed by around 600 P&G employees/Associates.
The current subscription rates are:-
Employee/Associate £1.25/month
Employee/Associate & Partner £2.50/month
If you would like to become a member, please complete the application form by clicking the link below, then print off and complete the application form, which authorises the deduction for your subscription from your salary/pension, and return it through the mail to me.
For Associates: If you would like to remain/become a member of the Sports & Social Club after you retire, would you please click on the link to the application form below, then print off and complete the application form, which authorises the deduction for your subscription from your pension, and return it to me.
