Captain's Report
Hexham Golf Club 25th July 2008
For the 12 people who attended the Hexham event, we endured (enjoyed) the best day of the summer. The course was in its normal top class condition, the greens immaculate. There was a breeze, which helped make the temperatures bearable, the direction different to normal. This made some of the the tougher holes easier, if you got a drive away. A quick mention for the evening meal, which was of the highest quality and quantity.
Onto the golf. As per normal, an 11 hole keenly contested, £1 sweep followed in the afternoon by 18 holes.

The tour continues with the next event a 36 hole day at Castle Eden. Hope to see a good turn out, for what was an excellent day 2 years ago. Graham is away on holidays and will send out updated handicaps and the golfer of the year points on his return.
