9th April - Tuesday
Winchfield Walk & Narrowboat Cruise |

Two events in one.
First a 5½ mile, 1 boot, walk along the Basingstoke Canal from the Barley Mow bridge car park. We take in Odiham Castle and end up in the Waterwitch Pub for lunch at 12.30pm.
At 2pm we board the ‘John Pinkerton’ narrowboat, above, for a one-hour cruise back to the start point of our walk.

Non-walkers can enjoy a Pub Lunch and a Narrowboat Cruise.
MEET: 12:15 at the Waterwitch pub in Colt Hill, Odiham. RG29 1AL
Join the walking party for lunch at 12.30pm.
Ride in the ‘John Pinkerton’ narrowboat to Dogmersfield - Barley Mow Bridge - and then stay on board to return to Colt Hill, enjoying a relaxing two-hour cruise on the very scenic Basingstoke Canal.

Buscot Park House  |

One of Oxfordshire`s best kept secrets, 18th century Buscot House contains the Faringdon Collection and is surrounded by a substantial Water Garden and Park.
The house is a National Trust property, its previous owner, Lord Faringdon, being the NT administrator.
The house is furnished with the Faringdon Collection and is open from 2-6pm.
There is a picnic area by the car park, which opens at 1.00pm.
Afternoon teas are available in the house from 2.30-5.30pm.
Good pub lunches are available in nearby Lechlade.

Heart of England Away Break |

Here we'll be visiting Worcestershire, the Vale of Evesham and the Cotswolds, staying for four nights in a Grade I listed Tudor Mansion.
Attractions include a guided visit to Ragley Hall; walking the Malvern Hills; a visit to the Commandary & Porcelain museum and Cathedral in Worcester; Evesham and Broadway; and journey on the Gloucestershire & Warwickshire preserved railway.

22nd May - Wednesday
Shere Walk  |

4½ miles, 1 boot - a short walk with lots to see.
Starting along the Tillingbourne stream, then through a bluebell wood,
we will visit the Albury Church of St. Peter & St. Paul, which was mentioned in the Domesday Book of 1086, before heading on through rhododendrons in Albury Park to Little London.
At Albury Heath we will visit the interesting William IV pub before heading through Chestnut Groves with views of the North Downs, and then along the Tillingbourne stream back to Shere.
MEET: 10am for 10.15 start at the Shere Village car park. GU5 9HF
LUNCH: 1pm at The White Horse, Shere Lane, Shere, Surrey. GU5 9HS
Non-walkers are welcome to join us for lunch.

12th June - Wednesday
Broughton Castle and Gardens |

This is a fortified manor house built in 1300.
Sir William Fiennes plotted against Charles I and fought in the Battle of Edgehill in 1642.
The house was rescued from decay in the 19th century and among its many fine features are a 15th century crenellated gatehouse, Queen Anne’s room, the King’s Room (James I, Edward VII), the Great Parlour, the Council Chamber and the Oak Room (where the plotting took place), an old family church, and a mix of formal and informal gardens.
The castle featured in ‘Shakespeare in Love’ and ‘The Madness of King George’.
MEET: 12.00 at The Saye & Sele Arms in the castle grounds for lunch (own cost) before visiting the castle for a guided tour, this £8 per person.
If there is sufficient interest we may find a pub for dinner on return, to avoid rush hour. In addition, we could arrange for a coach to take us on the whole trip - this from Egham for about £15 to £20 each, depending on numbers.

Alfold, near Cranleigh, Walk  |

4½ miles, 1 boot, mainly flat, with a mixture of tracks and paths, which may be muddy after rain.
A short walk on the Surrey - Sussex border through Sidney Wood andalong the towpath of the now abandoned Wey & Arun canal.
MEET: 10am for 10.15 start at the Forestry Commission car park at Sidney Wood just off the Alford to Dunsfold Road.
LUNCH: 1pm at the Onslow Arms, High Street, Loxwood, W Sussex. RH14 0RD
This is a 17th century grade II listed pub on the canal-side.
Non-walkers are welcome.

Rotherwick, Hook, Walk   |

5 miles, 1+ boot, with 55 metres height gain.
An easy walk, with no steep ascents or descents - and no stiles.
A very pleasant circular walk across farmland and through woodland around the attractive village of Rotherwick, a jewel in North East Hampshire.

18th July - Thursday
Dickensian London Guided Walk |

We start with a pub lunch at Ye Olde Cheshire Cheese in Fleet Street - at own cost.
This is followed by a guided walk of ‘Dickens in the City’ which will include a tour of the Dickens Museum in his former home.
We expect to finish at 5.30pm.

Summer Lunch |

Following positive feedback last year we will again hold the Summer Lunch at Frimley Hall Hotel.
For those of you who have not been, the hotel is situated in nice grounds in a residential area just off the Portsmouth Road in Camberley.
Come and join us for a three course lunch with wine and coffee.
There will be a choice of starters, main courses and desserts from which we will ask you to pre-order
The menu choice will be circulated in July.
We will meet in the Frimley Lounge where you can buy a drink.
